My Love for Panne

For those of you who don't know...
I am a really, really big fan of Fire Emblem: Awakening.

Or, just Fire Emblem in general.

But, today I am going to be talking about one specific character who has really stolen my heart from this game.
Warning: Some personal shit and excessive fangirling will commence.

Allow me to introduce you to:

Panne.

Panne is a taguel and is the last of her race. She was introduced in the most recent release of Fire Emblem, Fire Emblem: Awakening of FE13.
She is first seen in Chapter 6: Foreseer in a pretty badass way!

Panne is introduced by sneaking into the Ylisse castle while it is under attack by Validar in attempt to Murder Emmeryn. Panne sneaks in pretending to be a rogue assassin in effort to protect Emmeryn, as she had done a favor for her in the past (Which sadly is never revealed).

Originally, Chrom sees Panne as a threat and almost attempts to attack her, but Marth pleads with Chrom that Panne was supposed to be there that night, and that she is on their side and a valiant warrior. So, Panne is now officially controllable by the player! After the battle is over and your team has won, Panne reveals that she has no interest in coinciding with the Shepards, for the humans are who killed off her entire Warren (her family; clan). And, that she will never trust the "Man-Spawn" as she calls them.

Before Panne leaves, Emmeryn offers her a sincere apology for the genocide of her people. This leaves Panne confused because Emmeryn personally had nothing to do with it. Panne is touched by her words though, and ultimately decides to stay, and join Chrom's army.

If you didn't know originally what a Taguel is, allow me to show you...

Transformation from sexy woman to... giant, fluffy rabbit... beast thing? #10outof10wouldreccomend. So yeah, as I said before, Panne is a Taguel! A taguel is a humanoid who has the ability to shape-shift into a beast form using a beaststone. Panne is one of two characters in the game that is a Taguel, unless you marry her, then there would be three.
FE13 Taguel Transformed (Yarne)    FE13 Taguel Transformed (Panne)

I love Taguels to be honest, they are absolutely awesome melee fighters, you could say that they're... pretty beast. AHA I SLAY ME....I need more friends.
But, as I was saying. Panne and her son, Yarne are some of my best fighters. And, I ended up taking them both into the final battle where they both not only survived the whole thing, but when they fought together, wrecked freaking havoc upon anyone who dared challenge them.

Not to mention, that they both are just absolutely amazing characters in general. And, they really do contrast each other, but you can tell that their bond is strong anyway.

I just love the both of them, a lot.
When I first played Fire Emblem: Awakening, I of course made a female MC, and married Chrom, solely because he is voiced by Matthew Mercer, who is one of my favorite voice actors. (For those of you who don't know, I am also a voice actor).
But, when I met Panne in the game, at first I just thought she was badass and all, you know?
But then, I really grew to love her character and I bonded with her a lot.
Forgive me, I know she is just a video game character. But, I could really empathize with her. Growing up alone, being different, all whilst having a strong sense of pride and keeping a straight face through it all. Also, calling those who have not earned our respect "Man-spawn" and eating like we are going to die tomorrow.
Panne is my spirit animal, along with Fred and George Weasley.

She is also learning more about those around her everyday, and is finally letting the walls around her fall down. I believe the Shepards really are her new warren, and that she would do anything to protect them.

Gods, I am such a sap. But, can you blame me?

My second playthrough of Fire Emblem, I played as a guy character so I would be able to marry Panne. And, gods I just love her so much :)

I think I have already made this post bad enough, so I might just end it here xD

Poll Question of the Day: Who did you marry in FE:A?

Answer of the Day: Chrom first, then Panne, then Stahl, then Panne again xD

Thanks so much for reading, guys! And, don't forget to comment things you'd like to see me review and to follow this blog!

First Anime Post!

I know I said that this blog was going to focus on Anime and all sorts of different games, but I've realized that I haven't posted anything about anime yet!
So, this post is dedicated to one of my favorite, and quite new anime series:
                              Death Parade

Death Parade is a 12 episode anime series based off of the short movie "Death Billiards" and the anime series premiered in 2015 for the English subbed version. It was produced by Madhouse, which is one of my personal favorite animation studios and has created many other amazing series such as: Death Note, Highschool of the Dead, Parasyte and many others.

Whenever two people on Earth die at the same time, they are sent to one of many mysterious bars run by bartenders serving as arbiters. There, they must participate in Death Games with their lives on the line, the results of which reveal what secrets led them to their situation and what their fate will be afterwards, with the arbiters judging if their souls will either be sent for reincarnation or banished into the void. The series follows Decim, the lone bartender of the Quindecim bar, whose role in judging these souls changes when he meets a curious black-haired woman.

Above are the main characters and recurring characters in Death Parade, though there are many minor characters as well, who are only around for a single episode.

I found myself growing extremely attached to some of the characters, even though the series is only 12 episodes long. Especially, Onna and Decim. Their relationship with one another is very interesting, but I'm not going to reveal spoilers on here haha :3

(       Onna                  Decim             Mayu                   Ginti      )

I must say though, if any anime series would win an award for the most misleading opening theme, Death Parade would definitely take the cake.
This series is dramatic, psychologically mind-fucking and a real tear-jerker, but if someone watched the opening theme originally knowing nothing about the series, they would be in for a real shock when they watched the first episode.
But, that still doesn't change how much I freaking love the opening theme, I downloaded it onto my phone and made it my general ringtone the day after I watched the first episode.

(Oh gods, look at this freaking cutie! *Klavis*)

Not to brag or anything, but I started watching Death Parade the very day that the English subbed version was released with my roommates at school. My roommate Os had heard that the series was highly anticipated, so we decided to give the first episode a shot when it was available.

We were pleasantly surprised to say the least.
More like, we lost our freaking shit and were upset we had to wait a week to watch the next episode. (In my opinion, that's the only downfall of watching new shows; WAITING).

We continued to watch Death Parade together every Friday night until the twelfth episode aired and the series (and my life) was over. I just wasn't expecting to love this series so damn much!

I would recommend this series to anyone, and I literally mean everyone. This series has something that everyone would like, romance, comical relief characters, mystery, hot guys (and gals), and just a bunch of other awesome stuff shoved into only a mere 12 episodes.
I mean, you could honestly finished Death Parade in a day, or two for you underachievers. So, go on and give it a try! :)
I promise you'll love it ;)

Alright, I think I've gone a little overboard with the Gifs xD BUT KLAVIS OHMAHGAWD YOU PRECIOUS BABY!!!

Here's a link to the prequel to Death Parade, "Death Billiards":

Thanks so much for reading, guys!! It really means a lot to me whenever this pages gets just a few views a day, it lets me know that people may actually be enjoying what I post :)

Poll Question of the Day: What anime series have you watched weekly when they first came out? Anything you really anticipated for a long time? :)

Answer of the Day: Tokyo Ghoul, Durarara!! Shingeki no Sohma, DEATH PARADE, Parasyte and others when I was younger aha.

World of Warcraft: Part 2

WoW Update: Mounts and Class Reviews!

Hey guys!
So, I've been playing a lot of WoW recently, and I have added a few new characters into my entourage of geekness. Why don't you take a look below for some helpful hints and tips on what classes I have chosen for myself, and also how to gain some awesome benefits including mounts!

                                                         Renaga the Pandaren Shaman
Renaga, my Pandaren. Isn't she adorable? I actually had created a different Pandaren first, named Renatsu. But, I saw one of the trainees in my temple with a cute long tail, and I realized that she was a red panda! I love red pandas, and recreated a new Pandaren that was based off of the red panda besides the giant panda. Renaga is a Shaman, and is also my first Shaman. So far, I really like them, but I think their magic takes quite a bit to charge. The Pandaren storyline so far was really great, but I don't want to spoil anything for you guys ;) So, try out a Pandaren and be a cute little Red Panda like me! :D I originally recruited this character into my team because it has the most amazing mount that I have ever seen, which is pretty exclusive to the Pandaren race.

This is the Cloud Serpent in the Onyx color. Onyx is one of my favorite gemstones and I actually plan on naming my daughter Onyx because it's just a beautiful name in general! The Onyx Cloud Serpent quest isn't available until you are level 90 and that kinda kills my heart, just a little. My Pandaren is currently level 15.... so, not too close to getting my new baby. But, it will be so worth it in the end!

Viritane the Draenai Death Knight.
Yes.
I jumped on the bandwagon and made a Death Knight, alright?! No regrets here though. This Death Knight is a female Draenai and I though she was absolutely gorgeous. To be honest, I'd love to remove the helmet to see her pretty face, but I don't want to give up FIFTY ARMOR. Like holy shit guys, Death Knights bruh. And, on the freaking fourth quest, I was given a free mount, without having to pay for it or even train in riding, which is absolutely crazy.
I mean, look at this thing. It's called an Acherus Deathcharger, and if that doesn't sound intimidating, than Chris Pratt is not the guardian of the galaxy, my friends. I love my Deathcharger, and it gets even better, because it increases your ground speed by 100% rather than the average 60%.
So far,
Being a Death Knight is super cool. I even met some really awesome guy who I teamed up with for about four solid hours, and we have added one another's battletags and do dungeon raids together :) Yay for friendship! Anyway, the Death Knight is extremely overpowered, and I thought that my enemies and quests would be supercharged as well, but to be honest, I haven't had much difficulty with anything in this questline so far. I was just disappointed to be transported to the human realm when the Death Knight's questline was seemingly "finished". Other than that, Death Knights are pretty freaking Badass.

Diatane the Undead Warlock.
Alright, Alright, Alright.
I know in my last WoW post I stated that I was pretty adamant about not creating an Undead character. But to be honest, my character doesn't even really look undead. Ditiane is a Warlock and so far has actually been a really interesting character. After making her, I like the undead race a lot more, because they are in all actuality, trying to earn their trust back from the Horde realm, for they are seen as outcasts, which I can relate to. So, I am sympathizing with the undead race, and like how this is going so far. One of my favorite aspects of character customization is mounts, that isn't a secret or anything, and to be honest, I originally created this character so I could get the Undead mount for my Bloodelf character (Skiaarrow) to use, selfish I know right.

But, come on,
This mount is awesome. I really prefer the color black, and I love this black skeletal horse mount, which is exclusive to the Undead race unless you become the exalted level for the Undercity, which is a pain in the ass unless you have the Undercity tabard and wear it for all of your dungeon rades, which makes you look like a noob. So, this way is easier to get the mount :)

Update of Previous Characters!

SkiaLupin the Worgen Druid
Wow!
SkiaLupin has really come along, she is about twelve levels higher since the first update, and has really added on some neat armor and a new weapon! I freaking love the Worgen race and wish that there was more backstory with them. I dislike when races clash in the game, like how Pandaren move into a new world, and how Death Knights also move to the human world. I wish that they would have more quests relating to who the character really is, but that's just me :)

Skiaarrow the Bloodelf Hunter
First of all, ignore the Orgrimmar tabard.
I'm trying to become exalted so I can buy the wolf mount from the orcs. And believe me, it's making my life hell wearing this thing in all the dungeons, looking like a noob and shit.
Anyway, Skiaarrow has really been coming along, and has gained almost twenty levels since my first update, which is crazy! I just am always doing dungeon raids with her to help raise her reputation. She has a complete set of new armor, and I also changed her pet. The undead wolf was unintentional, I was so excited that I found a tameable wolf that I conjured it before really analyzing that it was contaminated. Which is gross, but I'll keep him :) His name is Ren.

Thank you so much for reading! I honestly hope that this blog becomes a bit more active in the future, and that people will comment on my stuff. Because I am genuinely interested in talking to people and hearing what kinds of things you guys like! I also would love to see some answers to my poll questions :)

Speaking of poll questions...

Poll Question of the Day: What kind of mount do you like best?
Answer of the Day: I am a big wolf fan, so wolf mounts! (And the Onyx Serpent!)

Comment below, please! And, follow this blog for new posts every other day! :)

Video Game Review! #1: Fire Emblem: Awakening

Hello everyone!
So, I have noticed that I tend to post every two days, so I think that I will just make that a set standard for this blog, so look forward to new posts every two days :)

As you saw in the title, this post is a review of the 2013 3DS game, Fire Emblem: Awakening!

I purchased this game last year as a Christmas present to myself, and I must say that it is definitely one of my favorite games that I have ever played. And here are a five reasons why:

1: Character Customization:

Before I buy a game, I normally like to watch some game-play videos on Youtube, and I already knew that I would like this game while I watched the player customize their character. I am a big fan of games that give you some free reign with your MC.

Don't worry Frey, I still love you. (Rune Factory 4)

Anyway, I just loved how you can completely customize your MC from their body shape to even their voice actor! It really makes you feel like you are actually inside of the game, and interacting with the characters. It's also nice because you get a custom animation, sprite, and 3D character! Below is an image of what my personal character looks like, with her resting bitch-face. xD

2: Graphics during Game-play and Cut-scenes:
Okay, so I was blown away with the animation and digital designs during the battles in this game. I think I was first impressed when I watched Frederick kick the crap out of some poor barbarian.
But yes, the graphics in this game are fantastic, both in the battles and in the cut-scenes that have the power to rip your heart out.  I mean, look at this!! It's just beautiful. *Sheds manly tear*

3. Characters, Characters, Characters!!:

I freaking love every single character from Fire Emblem, even the ones that are against you and seem like assholes (Which are usually my favorites, actually). Each character has a quirk to them, from obsessive stalkers to candy-loving thieves. You're bound to find a character that you'll love, or two, or all of them, like me. Below are my favorite FE;A Ladies and Gents :) For those of you who are curious, my very favorite female is PANNE, and my favorite guy is STAHL :D
My favorite Fire Emblem: Awakening guys:
Favorite Fire Emblem Ladies~
4. The score:

The score from FE:A has the power to make you stab someone gracefully, and also have uncontrollable sobbing. It's an absolutely beautiful score, full of instrumentals and almost 100 completely different songs that each play at some point within the game! Perfect timing might I also add.
Here is a link to the full album on Youtube :) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1XVfcR2cvA&list=PL58D398750F1219D8

5. Supports with other Characters:

For those of you who are like me, and are huge romance buffs, this is the perfect game for you. You actually are able to marry one of the other characters, and have a child (or two in some cases) with them! I started off playing Harvest Moon and Rune Factory, and really love games where I can have relationships with the other characters, and boy did this game nail it.

Fire Emblem: Awakening has what it calls a "Support System" where the player can actually have cut-scenes of their own with each other character, and every one is different! Some are funny, some are super weird, some are romantic, and some are even really heart-wrenching when you delve into some backstories.
The best part is, you are also able to witness the Supports of other characters with each other! That's where you really start to see different sides of each character, and it really makes them feel like real people. And, you WILL get attached to characters, and use the others as meat shields to protect your babies, unless that's just me. (I call Sumia Sumeatshield because of this. The name just stuck lol).
Now, here are some examples of supports between the avatar and other characters, and other character's supports with one another :)

They're all so adorable :)

Now, for the ratings.

Fire Emblem; Awakening:

Gameplay: 5/5
Absolutely beautiful graphics also the battles are extremely addictive and fun! They really make you think, and are really entertaining to watch and do.

Story: 4/5
The story for this game is absolutely great, and with over 20 paralogues to play besides the 25 main chapter storyline, there's a lot to see! But, at the same time, I always wish that there was more to see. But, you can always purchase the DLC for extra adventures and chapters with the characters! This would have probably gotten a 5 if I wasn't poor and actually bought the DLC xD

Graphics: 4/5

The characters don't have feet, enough said xD

Characters: 6/5

I love everyone in this game, even Sumeatshield <3

Overall score: 5/5 (Would Recommend!)
I would definitely recommend trying this game out, or just being selfish and buying it while using all three save-files so you can marry all the crushes xD Anyway, this game is definitely worthy of it's "2013 best role-playing game" award, and if that isn't enough to even try it out, then I don't know what is.

Thank you so much for reading this review and I plan to do one for a different video game/ anime every week :) Give this blog a follow to see more!
